                                                                                                                               Guitar George started playing the guitar when he was six years old with Classical and  Flamenco lessons. It was also at this time that he learnt to read music.

At seven years old he was given a Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. He took lessons from a great guitar player, Bryn Thomas, who taught him all about scales, chords and licks.

He was soon playing some Rock and Roll and Shadows music. His first public performance when he was eight years old.

As well as playing the guitar he was taught to sing by recording artist and winner of five gold discs, Carlos Romero.

At nine years old he played on stage at The NEC in Birmingham at The Guitar Exhibition and this was where he met Hank Marvin for the first time.

When Guitar George was ten he won a national competition called 'The Young Ones' at Shadowmania 2000 which was held at the Lakeside Country Club in Surrey. Bruce Welch presented him with an Atlantis effects box and a Burns guitar. Following on from this he met up again with Hank Marvin at The Theatre Royal in Norwich.

Later on that year he was invited to appear on the BBC children's television programme Blue Peter. It was broadcast LIVE! to two million viewers.

He also took part in a variety show which was headlined by Roy Hudd which was for 'The Grand Order Of The Water Rats'.

Since then he has been able to gain valuable performing experience in the UK, Spain and France. He took part in a large charity spectacular at the internationally famous Benidorm Palace in Spain and in France at the Palais des Congres in Versailles.

Guitar George has worked in Paris when he guested on the title track of a CD 'The Angel of the North' which has been recorded by French  guitarist, Matilda.  www.blumatilda.com

In 2006 he was featured on the ' Let Me Entertain You ' show, hosted by Brian Conley which was shown on BBC2 and in 2007 he was on ' When Will I Be Famous' with Graham Norton which was shown on Prime Time BBC1. In February 2008 he was on ITV Dancing on Ice when he played guitar and sang whilst riding the unicycle on Ice.

Guitar George has recorded 3 albums of Guitar Instrumentals. 'More of Him' contains numbers such as Apache, Wonderful Land and Don't Cry For Me Argentina.  'Going Back' contains tracks such as Mozart Forte, My Grandfathers Clock and Zambezi.  'In The Mood' has 15 Tracks Including In The Mood, Cavatina and Going Home.

He has also produced a DVD which is called 'Live At Pontins'

Other interests include playing the Saxophone and Drums, also riding a Unicycle, Juggling and Magic.
